4.0 Projects and Tasks


To get an overview of your projects and tasks, follow these steps:

Step #1 Accessing the Projects Section:

Locate the "Projects" section on the left sidebar of your screen to access it.

Step #2 Viewing Projects and Tasks:

Once the window is open, you'll see a list of your projects along their associated tasks in a collapsed state. To see the tasks within a project, click on the "+" icon next to the project title.

Step #3 Modifying and Adding Task:

Adding a New Task: To create a new task, follow these steps:


  • Click on the "New Task" option.
  • A dialog box will appear where you can enter the task name and expected time.
  • Once you've provided these basic details, the task will be created under your name.

You can then proceed to add further details to the task.

Editing Task Details 

You can edit task details in two ways:

  1. Directly from the Project Dashboard discussed below
  2. From the Task drawer

Modifying due date: To modify the details of a task, follow these steps:

  • Locate the task you want to edit. 
  • Click on the due date associated with the task.
  • This action will open up a calendar view.
  • From the calendar, select a new due date that aligns with your preferences.

Updating Task Status: It's crucial to track your task progress accurately. Here's how you can update the task status:

Determine the current status of the task. For instance, if you have completed a task, mark it as "Ready for review. By doing so, your manager or team lead will have a clear overview of the completed tasks.


Adjusting Expected Time and Priority: To match your task preferences, you can modify the expected time and priority of a task:

  • Update the expected time to reflect the estimated duration of the task.
  • Adjust the priority status according to the task's importance in relation to other tasks.

Step #4 Accessing Project Details:

If you want to access specific project details, simply click on the project title. For example, click on the 'Internal Project' title and you will be able to see the following information:


  • Project Status: At the top, you'll find the project status, indicating its current stage. It will show whether the project is in progress, pending, ready for review, or completed.
  • Estimated Time: You can see/edit the estimated time for completing the project.
  • Project Creation and Due Dates: It displays the dates when the projects were created and when they are due.
  • Progress Bar: This progress bar indicates, in percentage, how much of the project has been completed relative to the estimated hours for its completion. It helps you gauge the overall progress at a glance.

Additionally, you can view the tasks associated with the project and their respective details:

  • Task Progress: You can see the progress of each task associated with the project.
  • Expected Time: It displays the estimated time required to complete each task.
  • Logged Hours: You can view the logged hours for each task, providing insights into the time spent on them.
  • Task Status: The current status of each task is shown, indicating whether it's in progress, pending, or completed.
  • Task Due Date: The due date for each task is provided, helping you keep track of deadlines.
